Practical Nurse (Outpatient)

<p>About the Position: Positions are located at multiple clinics inside Desmond T Doss Health Clinic, at Schofield Barracks, HI. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Provide practical nursing care to patients in the outpatient clinic with a variety of medical conditions.</p><p>Perform tasks such as recording vital signs, ordering labs, tracking patient's laboratory, radiology orders and referral results to completion.</p><p>Administer prescribed medications with increased independence, ensuring proper patient dosages, routes, and times are followed.</p><p>Educate patients and families about prescribed treatments, reinforcing adherence to the medical plan.</p><p>Document accurate administered medications and patient responses promptly in compliance with facility policies.</p><p>Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective management of patient medications.</p>
