Practical Nurse (Outpatient)

<p>About the Position: This position is located in an outpatient Family Health and Internal Medicine clinic within a medical facility. The clinic provides services to a diverse patient population, including adults and families. The working environment is fast-paced and patient-centered, with a focus on preventive care and disease management. Hours are typically Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional extended hours overtime as needed. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Perform patient intake, including assessment of vital signs, health history, and documentation in electronic health record.</p><p>Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments as ordered by providers.</p><p>Assist providers with examinations, minor procedures, and diagnostic tests.</p><p>Provide patient education on health maintenance, chronic disease management, and medication adherence.</p><p>Monitors patient responses during and after procedures.</p><p>Coordinate patient flow and support efficient clinic operations.</p><p>Provides practical nursing care to patients in the outpatient clinic with a variety of medical conditions.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
