Practical Nurse (Outpatient)

<p>About the Position: This position is located at Army Health Clinic, Internal Medicine Service at Hunter AFB, Georgia. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Provide practical nursing care to patients in the outpatient clinic with a variety of medical conditions.</p><p>Performing tasks such as recording vital signs, ordering labs, tracking patient’s laboratory, radiology orders and referral results to completion, and making future appointments.</p><p>Assist in performing and managing medical procedures, physical examinations, and treatments.</p><p>Prepare patients for procedures, such as wound care, catheterizations, and respiratory therapies, under the guidance of a registered nurse or licensed medical practitioner.</p><p>Administer oral, intradermal, subcutaneous, intramuscular immunizations.</p><p>Educate patients and/or family/guardians/caretakers on requirements for care and medications.</p>
