PHYSICIAN (PREVENTIVE/OCCUPATIONAL MEDICINE)

<p>This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serve in the Public Health Directorate, Deputy Chief of Staff for Force Health Protection Office of the Surgeon General/US Army Medical Command. Provide medical advice on general Preventive Medicine, and Public Health, or Occupational/Environmental Medicine.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Provide medical advice on General Preventive Medicine and Public Health, or Occupational/Environmental Medicine.</p><p>Evaluate, recommend, and develop program guidelines and policies.</p><p>Advise on diagnosis, treatment, and management of illnesses or injuries in individuals and populations.</p><p>Advise on related issues involving medical toxicology, human factors assumptions, sensitive populations, policy/law, and other public health problems.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
