Physician (Pathology)

<p>About the Position: This position is located at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service 1-Year Fellowship in Transfusion Medicine is preferred.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Provide transfusion medicine services</p><p>Oversight of blood donations and creating FDA approved blood products</p><p>Provide expert consultation and consults with clinicians concerning complex pathological diagnoses.</p><p>Participate in Quality Improvement activities of the laboratory.</p><p>Teach Physician residents</p><p>Provide surgical pathology, cytology, and autopsy service.</p><h3>Education</h3>See Qualifications section for education requirements.
