Physician (Family Practice)

<p>About the Position This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. This position is in Family Medicine with the Primary Care Clinic at Fort Drum, NY. This is an open continuous announcement. Multiple vacancies exist and may be filled from this announcement at any of the locations listed. We accept applications on an ongoing basis; qualified applicants will be considered as vacancies become available.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Formulate full treatment and management regimens based on sound diagnoses consistent with current and/or evidence-based clinical practice guidelines.</p><p>Perform ambulatory surgical procedures including but not limited to casting/splinting, suturing, excisional skin biopsies, and flexible sigmoidoscopies.</p><p>Order and interpret diagnostic and testing procedures including laboratory and radiological examinations.</p><p>Provide input and guidance on clinical aspects and/or resolves issues relating to management of provider templates to meet access-to-care standards.</p><p>Engages in and adds to medical oversight activities, such as peer review programs.</p><p>Actively participates in local disaster training exercises to uphold preparedness standards.</p><h3>Education</h3>See Qualifications section for education requirement.
