Physician (Family Medicine)

<p>About the Position: This position falls under the Defense Health Agency, 633rd Medical Group, Langley, providing a full scope of primary and preventive health care service to patients of all ages in the Department of Family Medicine. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. This is a Standing Register (Open Continuous announcement). Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis until filled. First cut-off will be 11 June 2026 at 11:59 P.M. with subsequent cut-off dates every two weeks.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Provide direct primary and preventative outpatient care to include gynecologic, prenatal obstetric, pediatric, and geriatric care.</p><p>Perform ambulatory surgical procedures including but not limited to: splinting, suturing, excisional skin biopsies, joint injections. Additional procedures based on applicants training and credentialing.</p><p>Order and interpret diagnostic and testing procedures to include laboratory and radiological examinations.</p><p>Guide and provide counsel to personnel to include physician assistants, nurse practitioners, medical technicians, and administrative personnel.</p><p>Participate and contribute to medical oversight activities to include peer review programs.</p><p>Participate in local disaster training exercises to maintain preparedness levels.</p><h3>Education</h3>See Qualification section for education requirements.
