Physician (Family Medicine)

<p>About the Position: This position is located at Army Health Center Bliss in Fort Huachuca, Arizona. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Medical malpractice liability insurance is not required for federal civilian healthcare providers as they are covered by the Federal Tort Claims Act (28 U.S.C. § 1346(b)) while acting within the scope of their employment. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Perform emergency services or crisis intervention, including life-saving emergency procedures when necessary.</p><p>Serve as a recognized technical authority in the delivery of Family Medicine.</p><p>Serve as member of the professional medical staff and provide advisory and consultative services on various meetings, committees, conferences, and/ or boards.</p><p>Make recommendations on improvement of work methods and organizational features.</p><p>Diagnose illnesses and prescribe and administer healthcare treatment plans for people suffering from injury or disease.</p><h3>Education</h3>See Qualifications section for education requirements.
