ABOUT THIS ROLE
<p>About the Position: This position is located at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Provides clinical and administrative leadership to the Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) team.</p><p>Serves as the Primary Care Optimization (PCO) team leader providing comprehensive outpatient care to beneficiaries ranging from newborn to geriatric age presenting with complex and interdependent acute and chronic conditions.</p><p>Provides medical evaluations for active duty, reserve components, Department of Defense (DoD) civilian, and family member beneficiaries.</p><p>Provides direct primary outpatient care including gynecologic, prenatal obstetric, pediatric, and geriatric care.</p><p>Performs ambulatory surgical procedures including but not limited to casting/splinting, suturing, excisional skin biopsies, and flexible sigmoidoscopies.</p><p>Serves as member of the professional medical staff following and modifying hospital plans and policies to meet accrediting agencies’ (AAAHC or TJC) requirements.</p><p>Serves as clinical preceptor for other professional providers e.g. other Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, etc.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
