Physician (Emergency Medicine)

<p>About the Position: This position is located at WINN Military Hospital, Fort Stewart, GA. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Medical malpractice liability insurance is not required for federal civilian healthcare providers as they are covered by the Federal Tort Claims Act (28 U.S.C. § 1346(b)) while acting within the scope of their employment.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Provide services of an Emergency Medicine Physician to patients in the Emergency Room.</p><p>Examine patients and order appropriate tests to evaluate patient's chief, and related complaints.</p><p>Perform authorized emergency procedures.</p><p>Provide professional guidance and direction to physician assistants, Nurse Practitioners and physician assistant students working in the Emergency Room.</p><p>Participate in departmental and hospital performance improvement activities and make recommendations on improvement of work methods, organizational features and the restructuring of positions.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
