Physician (Cardiology / Interventional)

<p>About the Position: This position is located at 60th Medical Group, Pulmonary Services, within David Grant Medical Center, Travis Air Force Base, CA. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Evaluate specialized cardiac imaging and test results to develop individualized treatment plans.</p><p>Conduct catheter-based interventions, device implantations (pacemakers, defibrillators, loop recorders), and advanced diagnostic techniques such as intravascular ultrasound and fractional flow reserve measurement.</p><p>Deliver inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular consultation services, ensuring continuity of care across settings.</p><p>Teach medical students, residents, and fellows through clinical precepting, lectures, and academic consultation.</p><p>Direct and collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, house staff, and ancillary personnel to optimize patient outcomes.</p><p>Provide consultative services, chart reviews, and supervisory oversight to maintain high standards of cardiovascular care.</p><h3>Education</h3>See Qualifications section for education requirements.
