ABOUT THIS ROLE
<p>About the Position: This is a Physician Assistant position located at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, California. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Perform medical screening examinations in an inpatient or outpatient setting for patients of all ages.</p><p>Examine patients and perform initial patient work-up and assessment of patients' care and treatment.</p><p>Secure health and medical history from the patient or family member, records findings and makes clinical evaluation.</p><p>Provide primary care and preventive services to healthy individuals, including guidance on common illnesses, accidents, and alternative drug usage.</p><p>Provide consultation, teaching, and coordination with patients and their family members, regarding treatment and medical care.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
