<p>About the Position: This position is located within Naval Medical Center San Diego, CA; located at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Branch Medical Clinic. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Performs medical screening examinations in an inpatient or outpatient setting for patients of all ages.</p><p>Examines patients and performs initial patient work-up and assessment of patients' care and treatment.</p><p>Determines the need for and orders laboratory tests, X-rays and other procedures necessary to complete assessment of the patient.</p><p>Diagnoses disease, illness disorder or injury.</p><p>Prescribes for and treats a variety of diseases, disorders and injuries.</p><p>Position may require incumbent to provide preoperative and postoperative care, and may work as first or second assistants during major surgery.</p><h3>Education</h3>See Qualifications section for education requirements.
