<p>About the Position: This position is located at 88th Medical Group, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Provide comprehensive outpatient care for both male and female: ranging in age from newborn to geriatric, presenting with complex and interdependent, acute and chronic conditions.</p><p>Perform ambulatory surgical procedures including but not limited to: casting/splinting, suturing, excisional and shave skin biopsies, joint aspirations and injections, and colposcopies, as specified in the credential and privilege lists.</p><p>Provide advice by telephone and/or in person to other non-physician providers, nursing, and para-professional staff on the care of patients with urgent, emergent, and non-urgent medical problems.</p><p>Provide advice by telephone and/or in person to other non-physician providers, nursing, and para-professional staff on the care of patients with urgent, emergent, and non-urgent medical problems.</p><p>Serve as member of the professional medical staff and complies with hospital plans and policies to meet accrediting agencies requirements.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
