<p>About the Position: This position is located within an outpatient orthopedic clinic at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital in Fort Campbell, Tennesse. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Performs a variety of professional direct health care clinical duties related to orthopedic care.</p><p>Manages musculoskeletal conditions and provides follow-up care for injuries and nonoperative needs.</p><p>Performs basic procedures including splinting, casting, brace application, wound checks, and suture or staple removal.</p><p>Supports urgent evaluations and assists supervising clinicians with assessments and procedures during time-sensitive cases.</p><p>Assists in surgical care through preoperative assessment, intraoperative support, and postoperative management.</p><p>Documents care and educates patients on treatment plans, recovery expectations, and preventive practices.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
