<p>About the Position: This position is located at the 9th Medical Group in Beale Air Force Base, California. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Perform a variety of professional direct health care clinical duties.</p><p>Assess, plan, evaluate, and modify the plan of acute and chronically ill patients.</p><p>Examine adult patients and performs initial patient work-up and assessment of patients' care and treatment.</p><p>Provide consultation, teaching, and coordination with patients regarding treatment and medical care.</p><p>Provide primary care and preventive services to healthy individuals.</p><p>Evaluate the total health care needs of patients and develops plans to meet the patients' needs.</p><p>Oversee compliance with the preventive healthcare needs of adult patients visiting the clinic.</p><p>Provide surveillance of adherence to medical and primary care practices and procedures to stabilize chronically ill patients.</p><p>Collect a detailed and comprehensive medical history from the patient to perform clinical evaluations and provide recommendations.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
