ABOUT THIS ROLE
<p>This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is located at Directorate of Medicine, Cardiology Service, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Perform a variety of professional direct health care clinical duties within the field of Cardiology Clinic.</p><p>Secure a health and medical history from the patient or family member, record findings, and make clinical evaluation for assigned patients.</p><p>Examine patients and perform initial patient work-up and assessment of patients' care and treatment.</p><p>Provide broad care for heart health and cardiac care practices and procedures to stabilize chronically ill patients.</p><p>Perform physical examinations, special physicals, and other related physical examinations on assigned patients.</p><p>Order and prescribe medications in accordance with approved treatment protocols.</p><h3>Education</h3>See Qualifications section for education requirements.
