Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Perform medical screening examinations.</p><p>Order and prescribe medications in accordance with approved treatment protocols.</p><p>Provide consultation, teaching, and coordination with patients and their family members of treatment and medical care.</p><p>Discriminate between normal and abnormal findings to recognize early stages of serious physical, emotional or mental problems.</p><p>Supervisory positions will provide administrative and technical guidance to subordinates.</p><p>Supervisory positions will assign work to subordinates based on priorities, difficulty of assignments, and capabilities of employees.</p><p>Supervisory positions will supervise clinical staff, which includes military and/or civilian Physician Assistants (PA), paraprofessional, and administrative personnel.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
