Physical Therapist (Holistic Health and Fitness)

<p>This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This is a permanent Physical Therapist (Holistic Health and Fitness) position located at Fort Richardson, Alaska. Duty location is in an arctic environment.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Provide full range of professional injury screening and prevention, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment to maximize Soldier performance and improve unit readiness.</p><p>Perform physical therapy professional duties requiring an advanced practical knowledge of physical therapy skills, evidence-based practice, data collection and reporting as part of the H2F team.</p><p>Plan and organize professional injury screening and prevention.</p><p>Research, analyze, and report on injury control and program effectiveness.</p><p>Advise Commanders and Directors on the development and implementation of strength and endurance programming and execution.</p><p>Participate on the Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) team to coordinate the rehabilitation or wellness activities of individual or groups of Solders.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
