PHARMACY TECHNICIAN

<p>About the Position: Work will be performed at Alexander T. Augusta Military Medical Center Outpatient Pharmacy. The pharmacy hours of operation are Monday to Friday 0700 to 1800 and Saturday 0900 to 1700 This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Prepare prescription medications.</p><p>Prepare IV's in sterile environment.</p><p>Dispense prescriptions within the parameters of established policy and instructions.</p><p>Inspect prescription labels for accuracy.</p><p>Rotate pharmacy stock.</p><p>Operate pharmacy automation equipment.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
