Pharmacy Technician

<p>About the Position: This position is located at Lyster Army Health Clinic, Fort Rucker, Alabama. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Performing the full range of pharmacy technician functions in support of pharmacy operations within a military treatment facility.</p><p>Assist pharmacists in providing safe, accurate, and timely pharmaceutical services through medication preparation, dispensing, inventory management, pharmacy automation, record maintenance, and customer service.</p><p>Resolve issues pertaining to prescription with prescriber or pharmacist.</p><p>Provide direct instruction to patients.</p><p>Complete prescription label for medication.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
