Pharmacy Technician

<p>About the Position: This position is located at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Perform pharmacy dispensing services.</p><p>Clarify issues or problems concerning dosing, interactions, allergies, or instructions with the provider, pharmacist, or supervisor.</p><p>Answer routine inquiries from doctors, nurses, and other medical staff.</p><p>Process prescriptions by data entry and verify prescription orders.</p><p>Prepare, package, and label prescriptions.</p><p>Prepare bulk compounds to include ointments, creams, solutions, and suspensions.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
