Pharmacy Technician

<p>About the Position: This position is located at the Outpatient Pharmacy, 341st Medical Group Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. A recruitment incentive may be authorized.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Set up prescriptions by obtaining correct stock container and calculating quantities.</p><p>Process prescriptions by data entry and verifies prescription orders.</p><p>Review individual prescriptions for the full range of pharmaceuticals for dispensing.</p><p>Prepare packages and labels prescriptions and drug orders as ordered by the pharmacist.</p><p>Repackage liquids, tablets, capsules, etc., into specified quantities and various size containers.</p><p>Perform pharmacy check for “setting up” new and refilling prescriptions for a final check by the pharmacist.</p>
