<p>The VA Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinics (VA SORCC) in White City, Oregon is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Women Veterans Supervisory Program Manager (WVP). The RN leads the WVP at the local facility and works to ensure that timely, equitable, high-quality, comprehensive health care services, are provided in a sensitive and safe environment. The program constitutes the delivery of all services for women Veterans, including health care.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Located in the Rogue Valley, White City allows easy access to Metro-area of Medford while remaining engrossed with nature. White City is an unincorporated community in Jackson County, Oregon, in the Rogue Valley. It is about nine miles north of Medford and 34 miles north of the California border. Enjoy the scenic drives to either Crater Lake, Oregon's only National Park, and to the mountain resort Lake of the Woods. Take a family-friendly hike to a waterfall or ride the only section of the Pacific Crest Trail that's open to mountain bikers. Duties include but not limited to: Assesses the need for services for women Veterans and implements services for eligible women Veterans as well as to provide oversight to ensure that identified needs are met. Executes comprehensive planning for Women's Health (WH) issues that improves the overall quality of care provided to women Veterans and achieves program goals and outcomes. Provides facility guidance regarding change implementations as directed by Veterans Affairs Central Office (VACO) while working across multiple service lines and disciplines. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates WH care based on age specific components. Assumes responsibility for the coordination of care focused on patient education, self-management, and customer satisfaction throughout the continuum of care. Demonstrates the complete knowledge of the Women Veterans Program and is responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing or supervising direct patient care. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates delivery of care based on age specific components. Assumes responsibility of the coordination of care focused on patient education, self-management, and customer satisfaction throughout the continuum of care. Influences care outcomes by collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary team and participating in process improvement initiatives.
