Nurse (Quality Management)

<p>About the Position: This position is located in the Patient Safety/Risk Management Office at Naval Medical Center, San Diego, California. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Conduct reviews and provide analysis of patient related adverse event reports.</p><p>Collate, display and perform trend analysis and other statistical computation.</p><p>Serve as facilitator and guide patient safety review teams in the identification of the causes of adverse events as well as identify and implement practical, measurable and sustainable corrective actions.</p><p>Utilize a combination of patient safety tools and evidence-based practices to improve measures of quality and patient safety.</p><h3>Education</h3>See Qualifications section for education requirements.
