Nurse (Outpatient Clinical/OB-GYN)

<p>About the Position: This position is located at Evans Army Community Hospital, Directorate of Surgery, Department of Obstetrics/Gynecology at Fort Carson, CO. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Provide nursing services within Antepartum Testing, consisting of general obstetrics, multiple gestation, fetal surveillance, and perinatal diagnosis.</p><p>Serve as point of contact for obstetric service patients, conducting intake and prenatal assessments.</p><p>Coordinate women’s gynecological wellness and disease prevention, preconception, obstetric, acute and chronic gynecological diagnosis.</p><p>Collaborate with surgeons, and other professional health care providers, regarding patient care.</p><p>Obtain patient history and complete a full nursing assessment.</p><p>Formulate patient care plans, evaluating and revising, as needed.</p><p>Perform clinical OB testing and ultrasound procedures.</p><p>Instruct patients and family members regarding disease processes and provide emotional support, as needed.</p><p>Serve as facilitator to mediate complaints and concerns of patients, family members, and staff by taking immediate action to resolve or refer to a higher level.</p><h3>Education</h3>"See Qualifications section for education requirements".
