Nurse (Occupational Health)

<p>About the Position: This position is located at Jacksonville Naval Hospital. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Screen occupational injuries, illnesses, pre-placement, periodic and termination exams along with fitness for duty exams.</p><p>Initiate appropriate laboratory, x-ray or other screening tests.</p><p>Provide individual and group worker education and training on specific hazards and substances.</p><p>Perform work site visits independently or in collaboration with other occupational health professionals.</p><p>Maintain statistical data for use in epidemiology studies and other areas of concern.</p>
