Nurse (Occupational Health)

<p>About the Position: This position is located at the Naval Branch Health Clinic Belle Chasse, Dir of Clinical Support, Occupational health. The position is responsible for providing comprehensive occupational health services to all eligible Department of Defense (DoD) employees/beneficiaries (military and civilian) This is a Direct Hire Solicitation utilizing DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Provide direct care of employees, case management for occupational injuries and illnesses, and preventive health education and counseling.</p><p>Develop clinical protocols and technical procedures in support of occupational health programs for compliance with higher-level policies.</p><p>Visit work sites to evaluate potential health and safety hazards.</p><p>Implement a variety of administrative responsibilities to include the formulation and development of policies and procedures within occupational service for a variety of occupational health programs.</p><p>Collaborate with other health professionals to address occupational health issues and promote wellness in the workplace.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
