Nurse (Inpatient Clinical/OB-GYN)

<p>About the Position: This position is located in the Labor, Delivery, Recovery and Postpartum unit at Irwin Army Community Hospital in Fort Riley, Geary, Kansas. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation This is an open continuous announcement. Multiple vacancies exist and may be filled from this announcement at any of the locations listed. We accept applicants on an ongoing basis; qualified applicants will be considered as vacancies become available.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Provide comprehensive professional nursing care to OB/GYN patients and their newborns with medical conditions ranging from routine care to complex complications.</p><p>Develop nursing care plans and procedures, setting standards of care, prescribing special care and identify specific nursing problems for all patients</p><p>Perform procedures, treatments, and medication administration</p><p>Provide evidence-based instructions and education to patient/significant other and/or family members/caregivers.</p><p>Assist providers with procedures.</p><h3>Education</h3>See Qualifications section for education requirements.
