NURSE (CONSULTANT/RISK MANAGEMENT)

<p>About the Position: This position is located at General Leonard Wood Community Hospital Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Serve as the primary point of contact for medical quality assurance investigations.</p><p>Plan, create, coordinate, and implement training sessions for individuals, teams, groups, or committees to ensure that they are properly informed of risk assessment and risk mitigation activities</p><p>Prepare written reports, informational documents, and correspondence regarding Potentially Compensable Events (PCEs).</p><p>Act as the command advisor on all Medical Risk Management matters.</p><p>Collect, collate, and analyze data from Medical Evaluation Board (MEB).</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
