<p>About the Position: This position is located in the Internal Medicine Clinic at Naval Hospital Jacksonville. Work hours are Monday - Friday from 0730-1630 not including federal holidays. A Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation using DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit/appoint qualified candidates in the competitive service. - YOU MUST UPLOAD ALL SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS SUCH AS LICENSE, CERTIFICATES, AND TRANSCRIPTS.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Provides comprehensive nursing care to clinic patients utilizing evidence-based approach and application of clinical practice guidelines.</p><p>The incumbent independently performs direct nursing care to clinic patients via telemedicine, virtual, and face-to-face care to include triage, procedures, nurse-managed protocols, and medication management.</p><p>Incumbent assists clinician with physical examinations, treatments, diagnostic procedures, and coordination of health care needs of patients.</p><p>Proactively collaborates and integrates with members of the clinic team and other departments and directorates to achieve optimal care and health outcomes for the patients in the Patient-Centered Medical Home.</p><p>Identifies clinical, administrative, and staffing complications and independently utilizes problem solving techniques to ensure the delivery of quality patient care.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
