Nurse (Clinical)

<p>About the Position: This is a Nurse (Clinical) position with Camp Lejeune located in Onslow, North Carolina. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Provide comprehensive nursing care to clinic patients utilizing evidence-based approach and application of clinical practice guidelines.</p><p>Independently perform direct nursing care to clinic patients via telemedicine, virtual, and face-to-face care.</p><p>Assist clinicians with physical examinations, treatments, diagnostic procedures, and coordination of health care needs of patients.</p><p>Initiates and maintains medical history on patients, records observations and stated symptoms for use by the clinician.</p><p>Initiate emergency care as needed and assembles, operates, and monitors specialized equipment.</p><p>Ensures administrative requirements related to patient's visits are completed timely and correctly.</p><h3>Education</h3>See Education Requirements Above
