Nurse (Clinical)

<p>About the Position: This is a Nurse (Clinical) Position with Navy Hospital Pensacola located in Naval Air Station, Florida This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit andappoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Performs direct nursing care to clinic patients via telemedicine, virtual, and face-to-face care to include triage, procedures, nurse-managed protocols, and medication management.</p><p>Conducts an assessment and a thorough evaluation through physical exams, medical histories, and diagnostic test. Identifies disease or conditions based on assessment findings and diagnostic results.</p><p>Assists clinicians with physical examinations, treatments, diagnostic procedures, and coordination of health care needs of patients.</p><p>Identifies the need for specialist care, additional services, and coordinate referrals to appropriate health care providers.</p><p>Tracks patient's laboratory, radiology, and referral results to completion and tracks at-risk patients by following the plan of care and assisting in making future appointments.</p><p>Resolve clinical issues that arise during patient care, ensuring continuity or quality of care.</p><p>Ensures administrative requirements related to patient’s visit are completed timely and correctly.</p><p>Collaborates with the clinic manager and/ or department head to assist in directing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating activities related to the delivery of ambulatory nursing care.</p><h3>Education</h3>See Education Requirements Above
