Nurse (Clinical/Psychiatric)

<p>About the Position: This position is located at Irwin Army Community Hospital in Fort Riley, Kansas. Recruitment or relocation incentives may be authorized for highly qualified candidates. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Perform a comprehensive mental health nursing assessment and history to plan, provide and direct nursing care across the continuum of care.</p><p>Teach patient and family members regarding the disease process.</p><p>Utilize the nursing process to identify patient problems and generate nursing diagnoses.</p><p>Administer many psychotropic and complex medications via various routes.</p><p>Identify pending crisis situations and handle appropriately.</p><h3>Education</h3>See Qualifications section for education requirements.
