Nurse (Clinical/Pediatrics)

<p>About the Position: This position is located at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD for the Director of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, Pediatrics Primary Care. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Maintain privacy and confidentiality in nurse/child relationships.</p><p>Provide teaching and educational materials to newly diagnosed developmental pediatric patients, providing a post-diagnosis follow-up appointment.</p><p>Present families with resources of available support groups and therapies.</p><p>Provide comprehensive nursing care, appropriate to any age-related need of pediatric patients.</p><p>Observe, monitor, and assess patient’s condition, recognizing, identifying, and interpreting serious situations.</p><p>Perform basic life support for pediatric and neonates as needed.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
