NURSE (CLINICAL/FLOATING)

<p>About the Position: This position is with the Defense Health Agency at Womack Army Medical Center in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Advanced in hire may be authorized.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Provide independent clinical nursing care for all patients from neonates/pediatric through geriatric.</p><p>Develops, teaches, and provides patients and family in areas requiring support to facilitate special and innovative approaches.</p><p>Provides delegation, oversight, and direction of work to personnel of lower-level position.</p><p>Provides comprehensive age-appropriate nursing care to medical, post-surgical, patients based on physician's medical care plan.</p><p>Provides an advanced level of specialized nursing care to adult critically ill and injured patients.</p><p>Performs triage and provides nursing care to patients arriving in critical condition.</p><p>Performs comprehensive nursing support to all patients in the Perioperative Center.</p><p>Performs independent, comprehensive telephone and clinical triaging.</p><h3>Education</h3>See Qualifications section for education requirements.
