Nurse (Clinical/Ambulatory)

<p>About the Position: This is a Nurse (Ambulatory/Clinical) position located at the Oral Maxillofacial Clinic Naval Medical Center in San Diego, California. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Establish priorities for patient care and evaluate patients’ progress toward high-level wellness.</p><p>Screen patient charts to assess the medical history and determine health care needs.</p><p>Execute or ensure the completion of orders from health care providers.</p><p>Oversee educating patients for high risk, painful or stressful procedures with education and support.</p><p>Develop appropriate nursing plans.</p><p>Respond to emergency situations.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
