Nurse (Clinical/Ambulatory)

<p>About the Position: This position is located at Army Health Clinic, Family Medicine Service at Hunter AFB, Georgia. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Perform independent, comprehensive telephone and clinical triaging, and facilitate care coordination through a multidisciplinary approach.</p><p>Assist health care providers with examinations and procedures.</p><p>Assist clinic with patient and staff education including clinic orientation.</p><p>Ensure staff compliance with maintenance of competency folders in accordance with hospital and Joint Commission standards.</p><p>Prepare and administer oral, subcutaneous, intra-muscular and intravenous medications.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
