ABOUT THIS ROLE
<p>About the Position: This position is located at the Naval Medical Center within the Cardiology Department in San Diego, California. A recruitment or relocation incentive MAY BE authorized for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Salary negotiation MAY BE available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Maintain patency of artificial airways including suctioning.</p><p>Establish invasive intravenous lines and safely administers medications that promote sedation of the patients.</p><p>Monitor post-procedure recovery of patients and determine readiness to be transferred to the ward or Intensive Care Units.</p><p>Assess needs of cardiology patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic invasive cardiac catheterization procedures.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: See Qualifications section for education requirements.
