ABOUT THIS ROLE
<p>About the Position: This position resides within the Directorate of Medical Services, Pediatric Department, located at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Perform independent, comprehensive telephone and clinical triaging, and facilitate care coordination through a multidisciplinary approach.</p><p>Provide patient education as an integral part of the services offered.</p><p>Screen patient charts to assess the medical history and determine health care needs.</p><p>Recognize and report abnormal test results, changes in symptoms and the need for follow-up.</p><p>Prepare and administer oral, subcutaneous, intra-muscular and intravenous medications.</p><p>Reinforce health care provider instruction and encourage patient in the maintenance of health and self-care.</p><h3>Education</h3>See Qualifications section for education requirements.
