<p>About the Position: This position is located at 10TH Medical Group Air Force Academy, Colorado This is a Direct Hire Solicitation</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Perform a wide variety of tests, procedures and examinations in a clinical laboratory.</p><p>Utilize computerized automated analyzers to perform STAT chemistry procedures.</p><p>Verify automated procedures and slide evaluations of specific blood cell populations; bone marrows; bodily fluids to include manual cell counts; coagulation studies.</p><p>Prepare bacteriology cultures from sources/sites utilizing protocols.</p><p>Review and correlate results of tests and examinations and prepare written reports.</p><p>Give training and technical oversight to trainees.</p><p>Restock supplies and routine maintenance on clinical instrumentation and equipment.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
