Medical Technician

<p>This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This Position may be filled as temporary appointment not to exceed 1-2 years, if candidate is not a current permanent Army employee. Temporary appointments may be extended up to a maximum of three years with provisions to be made permanent.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Interview applicants for medical conditions that could affect test results.</p><p>Demonstrate procedures to minimize confusion and/or false failures.</p><p>Determine types of medical examinations required and/or any special testing due to age or Service requirements.</p><p>Screen applicants' records for conducting physical examinations.</p><p>Perform administrative office duties such as filing of paperwork and/or annotating logs.</p><p>Coordinate necessary evaluations and/or applicant's transportation for consultations.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
