<p>About the Position: This position is the Defense Health Agency. It is located in the Pathology Department located at Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center (DDEAMC) at Fort Gordon, Georgia. The Primary purpose of the position is to Perform complex diagnostic testing in a clinical laboratory environment. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Perform a variety of established procedures and tests within the core laboratory section.</p><p>Review results of routine work for technical accuracy or obvious errors.</p><p>Correlate laboratory data with quality control, clinical or other laboratory data to validate test results and procedures.</p><p>Train new employees, students, reservists and others to perform technical and procedural aspects within their realm of responsibility.</p><p>Operate the clinical analyzers and other equipment of the section according to manufacturer's recommendations and existing departmental Standard Operating Procudures (SOPs).</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
