Medical Records Technician

<p>About the Position: This position is located within the Occupational Medicine at Bremerton, Washington. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Technical evaluation of medical records and registration of new patients.</p><p>Compile reports and file appropriate forms regarding medical records as needed.</p><p>Ensure medical records are readily available for patient care, quality assurance, audits, legal reviews, etc.</p><p>Perform weekly quality review that includes review and screening of medical records to ensure medical records are properly filed and sequenced.</p><p>Screen and analyze medical records of beneficiaries.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
