Job Description:
Ensures compliance with safety and legal requirements as established by governing and regulatory agencies. Promotes strong frontline leadership, drives professional growth, fosters engagement, and builds high performing, accountable teams Other duties as assigned. Leads and develops nursing teams by cultivating a positive, inclusive culture where staff are empowered, professionally supported, and aligned with organizational values. Leads clinical and operational performance across assigned areas and serves as a liaison ensuring clear effective communication, collaboration with other departments to support seamless care coordination Recruits, retains, and develops a high-performing nursing leadership workforce, ensuring workforce stability, and developing strong leadership pipelines. Oversees the development and implementation of strategies to achieve departmental and organizational objectives. Develops and manages the annual budget in coordination with Finance, monitoring and adjusting to ensure effective use of resources. Uses the hospital Performance Improvement model to identify and resolve various issues. Evaluates the need for new services or programs in the department through surveys or physician, patient or staff feedback, annually. Participates in the development of new programs and/or services in department. Addresses and resolves any issues or concerns within the unit. Develops and updates nursing care plans.Education:
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Required]
• Master's of Nursing [Preferred]
Field of Study:
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Work Experience:
• 2+ leadership experience [Required]
• 2+ Med Surg nursing experience [Required]
• 5+ nursing experience [Preferred]
Licenses and Certifications:
• MedSurg or Chemo Certification [Preferred]

Pay Range:
$97,091.00 - $180,598.00
