Dietitian

<p>This position serves as a registered licensed Dietitian for providing nutritional services that elevate the health status of the tribal community. The Dietitian will utilize their professional diabetes experience in counseling pre-diabetics, and diabetics. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Make professional decisions or recommendations concerning nutritional care and dietary changes. Provide consultation, in-service training, education and nutrition/diet counseling to the staff and patients. Conducts nutritional assessments of patients, developing care plans consistent with cultural, social and psychological requirements. Assist with development of policies and procedures related to nutritional prevention and intervention. Monitor and evaluate activities of nutrition and the special diabetes program for performance improvement. Background Investigation Requirement: This position requires the successful completion of a federal background investigation as a condition of employment.
