<p>This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This announcement is to recruit for a Dietitian (Holistic Health and Fitness) position located at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Serve as the Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist for an Army brigade sized unit.</p><p>Deliver individual, group, and unit nutrition services and education to optimize Solder performance, overall unit readiness, and mission success.</p><p>Work with an interdisciplinary team to communicate and coordinate programming appropriate to the needs of health and injured Soldiers.</p><p>Conduct assessments to identify nutrition-related concerns of individuals and units.</p><p>Develop comprehensive performance nutrition programs that improve foundational health and optimize environmental and task-specific performance.</p><p>Execute and evaluate programs, services, education, and resources for performance enhancement.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
