Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist

<p>About the Position: This position is located at NAVY HOSPITAL PENSACOLA , Pensacola, FL. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Assure sterile supplies, contrast materials, catheters, and other required equipment are present and arranged appropriately in the imaging suite.</p><p>Administer contrast under the supervision of the attending physician.</p><p>Assist the radiologist during the procedure and perform follow up imaging independently.</p><p>Perform a variety routine to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures.</p><p>Ensure all radiographs demonstrate the required anatomy for dictation by the radiologist.</p><p>Assist radiologists with fluoroscopic and other special radiographic examinations which require the administration of contrast material.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
