<p>The Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist for Interventional Radiology provides clinical and technical support to perform a variety of cases under the direction of a physician (Radiologist, Vascular Surgeon, Cardiologist, or Pain Management provider). They have knowledge and abilities to perform interventional procedures in accordance with policies and procedures defining preparation of radiological equipment and devices. Recruitment incentive MAY be authorized to a Highly Qualified candidate.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Major duties include but not limited to: Assists with imaging during Operating Room and Pain Management cases and provides technical support for Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures. Additional responsibilities include performing radiographic examinations within Diagnostic Imaging, such as general x-rays, operating room studies, and portable x-rays. Collaborates with technologists, radiologists, surgeons, clinicians, and clerical staff to ensure timely patient care, efficient coordination of activities, and high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic outcomes. Independently operates a variety of fluoroscopy and x-ray equipment-both portable and fixed-to support routine to moderately complex imaging exams and procedures in both sterile and non-sterile environments. Work Schedule: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday Virtual: This is not a virtual position.
