<p>About the Position: These positions will be located at Brooke Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston, TX. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation This is an open continuous announcement. Multiple vacancies exist and may be filled from this announcement at any of the locations listed. We accept applications on an ongoing basis; qualified applicants will be considered as vacancies become available.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Perform computerized axial tomography (CAT) scanning of heads and/or bodies.</p><p>Assist the radiologist in performing examinations.</p><p>Determine technical requirements for each examination and ensures adherence to aseptic technique.</p><p>Provide hands on training and technical oversight for other technologists.</p><p>Ensure proper preventive and daily maintenance is conducted.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
